It is important that a Catholic should be given a Catholic funeral. It is also possible for non-Catholics who are connected with our parish to have a funeral service here, if they or their family wish to receive the prayers of the Church. Only a Catholic funeral service can take place at Church.

The priest will be able to advise on suitable readings and music for the Mass/service. A short account of the life of the person who has died (eulogy) is welcome. The priest will ask to see a copy beforehand. It is the practice that the day and time of the funeral is arranged between the family, the parish and the funeral director.
