Confirmation is the sacrament which completes membership of the church, following on from Baptism and The Holy Eucharist. It is the sacrament in which the candidates commit themselves to the Catholic Christian way of life.

For Confirmation the candidate usually needs to be in Year 10 or above of secondary school.

Confirmation courses run every two or three years, depending on the number involved and the availability of the Bishop. We aim to run the course in conjunction with neighbouring parishes. A note will be placed in the weekly newsletter informing candidates when registration opens for the course. Once registered, it is important to attend sessions regularly and faithfully. It is also important to attend weekly Sunday Mass on a regular basis.
